Typing and acoustics

Thoughtfully engineered multi-layer architecture

The keyboard is built from carefully selected layers that improve typing feel, stability, and sound. A carbon-fiber positioning plate, multi-layer damping, and a flexible gasket-mount design deliver a refined, responsive, and comfortable experience.

OLED touchscreen and control knob

The 1.47-inch full-color OLED display shows keyboard status, connection, battery, multimedia information, animations, and selected system data. The three-way control knob enables quick adjustment of settings.

Flexible gasket-mount design

With a quick switch, you can choose a firmer or softer typing feel. The firmer mode is responsive and suitable for gaming, while the softer mode provides a more cushioned feel for longer typing sessions.

Extended silicone wrist rest

The silicone wrist rest with an aluminum-alloy base complements the keyboard design and provides stable, comfortable support during extended use.

Detachable magnetic feet

Two pairs of magnetic feet in different heights enable three tilt angles, allowing you to quickly adjust the keyboard position to your preference.

Mechanical switches with a translucent design

ROG NX Edition 20 mechanical switches match the keyboard’s anniversary aesthetic with a refreshed translucent design. The wall-stem structure and factory pre-lubing contribute to stable, smooth, and consistent keystrokes.

Feel customization

Hot-swappable switches

The switches can be removed and replaced, allowing users to choose the typing feel that suits them best. Although the switches are hot-swappable, replacing them while the keyboard is operating is not recommended, as it may cause a short circuit.

Connectivity

Three connection modes

ROG SpeedNova wireless technology enables a stable connection with extremely low latency and up to 1600+ hours of battery life in 2.4 GHz RF mode with RGB and OLED effects turned off. Bluetooth is also available for connecting up to three devices, as well as wired USB mode for gaming and charging at the same time.

ROG Polling Rate Booster

The exclusive ROG add-on boosts the keyboard’s polling rate up to 8000 Hz in wired and wireless mode, enabling extremely fast response during gameplay.

ROG Omni Receiver

ROG Omni Receiver enables one compatible keyboard and one compatible mouse to be connected with a single USB receiver. Omni-compatible devices can only be paired with one receiver at a time.

Speed Tap

Faster response when changing direction

Speed Tap mode (SOCD) prioritizes the latest input when two opposing directional keys are pressed at the same time and automatically releases the previous one. In FPS games, this enables faster counter-strafing and more precise movement.

Speed Tap is turned off by default. To activate it, press Fn + Tab at the same time. SOCD stands for Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions.
